okay, so i got the akai mpc 2000xl today???

and its mad confusion.... its finna be a grip before i master this piece.... what do yall suggest for disks or cd's for the mpc??? how do u use the cd's for it??? i got's ta buy a external rom right??? any tips or info yall can give this mpc virgin would be much appreciated.......

dats cool.. yea, you'd want some scsi connection going there before you can get in touch with external gear.. i.e. a cd player with scsi.. you can use your computers.. does the mpc 2000xl also take hard drives over scsi???
 
anyways..... where i can i cop some good disks, how do i get the gritty drums and bass sounds, i got a disk that came with the joint which has hundreds of sounds... i'm finced to call up akai and order some of they disks..... maybe yall know?????
