Damn Fremantle rappers! Tell to go get a job in the mines like everyone else in WA.... :D

Rap = Cash up front, I reckon....

Actually they were so bad they give Fremantle Rappers a bad name, in fact they were from Perth City Area. Say no more.

Had a similar situation happen to me but with a christian rock band. I hate to jump on the train with everyone else yungdeva but you could consider being a little bit more humble. Frankly If someone were nice enough to spend the time to mix my music for me because I couldn't and even if their mix sounded terrible I'd still compensate them for being nice enough to do that but I guess thats just me.

The best thing I can think of is to not release the tracks until you're paid. You may lose 4 hours of your time, but they'll lose 4 hours of their creativity!

The trouble was that they did nothing worth while in the session anyway it was all crap with zero creativity.

I had a band years ago (in the days of cassette releases) that had not paid the bill, I had only given them a quick mix on a cassette so they could check out the playing. Guess what? They made copies of the quick mix cassette and released that. I never did get paid.

Yeah either way you still get screwed out of the deal and it really is a kick in the gut to get taken advantage of like that.

If you work for nothing, then that is what your work is worth...

Having said that, you get what you pay for, so what does the OP expect to get out of this?
