If you have a guitar plugged into Line In #1, and the recording vumeter showing sound on LIne #1 Left, a new track set-up to record from Line #1 Left....why the hell won't it record anything?

What am I missing?

I don't usually record by adding a track and then arming, I usually just setup the inputs I want to record from and hit the record button. Try enabling only the left side of the first input pair by setting it to "Record to a new track" from the VU meter, and then hit record.

Slackmaster, thanks! I posted elsewhere that I have resolved the problem by reinstalling both N-Tracks and the Delta 44 driver. I can now record, and all is well.

One follow-up question though, when I press the "LIVE" button, I get quite a delay, like 1/2 second!...With this new super computer of mine...I would think I could really pair this (latency?) down a lot....where is the setting for this?

Thanks

Latency is determined by your buffer settings.

If you use WDM, your latency will be determined by both the Delta control panel DMA buffer setting, and by the buffer settings you choose in n-Track.

If you use ASIO, your latency will be determined only by the Delta control panel DMA buffer settings (ASIO apps only use ASIO buffers).
