I'm looking to buy some cheap monitors
The 2 i've seen are ESI Near 05 and Alesis M1 520.
Does anyone know of these?
Also the lower frequency response is different for between monitors like 50Hz 65Hz etc.
How low do i need to go with this value ? (I'm in the spare room at home)

If this is your real question, I'd tend to avoid monitors with 5" drivers for serious mixing because of the bass frequency response.

I'm looking for nearfield speakers.What would be the smallest drivers that you suggest?

Six inches.
That said, quite a few on this forum use KRK Rokkit 5s
