All we're doing is taking you to task for some clearly amateur and inexperienced notions that you have about recording. I think just about everyone here has mixed at least once (if not several times) on home speakers and can attest to the fact that you WILL not get accurate translatable mixes that way.. without endless back and forth referencing to other systems and even then its a dubious bet. There is clearly nothing like the clarity of decent moitors. Maybe home speakers work for you and if they do... post a clip of your work....please, baby...I promise Ill give it a fair trial. I for one am in agreement with you that there are instances where you can get great sound on cheap gear.. and there is no question that 85% of production is in the quality of the engineer not the gear. So lets hear what home speakers can do.
