Making a floyd rose a "hardtail"

Let me guess... reviews from high schoolers, with no real guitar technician skills, trying to slap it onto their $250 Squier or bottom-line Ibanez, and aren't installing it correctly and carefully.


On a Jackson USA custom shop Randy V, it works like butter. Like magic.

It may have been but even still, I dont use the thing. Most of the complaints were just that it never reeeally locked. It still felt loose and didnt keep it from moving like it was sposed to.

Yea, cos it's easy to make a mistake and screw that thing to the neck or headstock if you don't read the instructions, like a proper tech does, eh?

I cannot vouch for the mechanical inclination and literacy of those who have tried to install the Tremol-No. After all, they ARE guitarists.

You would be astounded and ashamed to see how some rookies have tried to install this and failed. It is not a band-aid. You cannot simply slap it on and go. Once it is adjusted and tweaked, you'll instantly notice the difference between done, and done right. And when it is locked, it really does give you that added sustain and rigid feel that a hardtail bridge has.



But that's okay. You can go on doubting. Your loss.

I change guitars like I change my underwear and Jackson guitars are just as good as any other guitar brand out there, if not better. People are too into taking sides or routing for teams. Ford VS Chevy, Gibson VS Fender, PC VS MAC, Sports, politics, musical genres etc. etc. etc.

Everyone is an expert on the internet and it's all a matter of opinion. You know what they say about opinions?
