Looking to buy first Snyth

I agree that the electribes are more or less toys, but they're pretty fun for "jamming." My friend spins and I can either play some melodies or/and arpg. on the Triton (which is the board for me) or work with the electribes. The ES and EA are the only legitimate of the series in my opinion.

the ES is rather fair, yeah.. but as the rest it's got 33kHz that's a bit lame..
A JP8080 will beat the EA anyday and it's about the same type of module.. except the JP got a cool vocoder
 
agreed that the series in general has some lame facets, how much you pay for your JP? Where's a good place to research it?

i have the es-1 and the er-1. the es-1 i used to use as a drum machine really, so i figured i'd get the er-1, which is really cool, some really nice sound control but it still collects dust with r-8. i find the PC is really the best drum machine for me at this point.

oh yeah synths - i have the jp-8000 and love it.
