The other day I powered up my "system" and played a track and noticed the left monitor was very quiet. The right with the same gain setting was much louder. After narrowing it down, I came to the conclusion it is a hardware issue on the alpha. I used the rca outs and some adapters to make sure it wasn't just the TRS out. Same thing; still much quieter than the right output.
The next day I powered on my system played a song and they were balanced again (or it sounded like it.) However, it happened again. It seems to be pretty much random. Nothing every gets moved or bumped.
So I'm assuming it's something in the Alpha's "board" that affects strictly the left output. I found the routing diagram online (attached) however, I'm not techy enough to figure out what needs to be done.
I'd love any suggestions as this issue is driving me absolutely insane.
Thanks in advance,
Casey
