Here's my studio. Please bear in mind i'm am only 16. I've worked sooo hard for the gear i own. Enjoy!

Holy Gueetars! Looks good bro!

16 eh?

That must be one hell of a paper route you have!

Nice setup, dude!

Cheers! :)

I "stole" a Behringer DDX3216 from my friend. He thought it was broken.. I plugged it in for the hell of it and it powered up. Woo!

I'm still working out using it as a control surface, but it looks more like a studio now. Ha.

He also gave me his old rack, now I can actually get some rack stuff. First up, headphone amp.

I'm still setting up the room, excuse the mess.

I've got the faders working so far. I'm working on getting the pan and transport controls working. I'm not sure if I can do it.. but I'll find out soon enough.

Hmmm, Lets see,
8 guitars
a full set of drums,
6 or 7 amps
pedals galore
3 sets of monitors
mixer-outboards
mics, stands, cables..
computer....
He must have started at 4 :p Nice setup though

Looks like he has a Soundcraft M series mixer and one of those Yamaha 01X or whatever you call it interfaces

I think his dad is also a musician ... if I am remembering my users correctly.

Yeh, my dad plays guitar, as does my brother. Drum kit is mine that i had already. Some of the gear is my bands (im in 5 bands) and as i'm the drummer, they leave thir gear at my house. Although all the guitars belong to my family.

I get my main money from teaching drums. I teach 12 kids a week at £10 an hour.
I've been playing for 5 years but I've passed grade 8, and have done all the work for a teaching degree in drums but i cant take it as im underage.

Thanks for the comments guys. Yeh it's a Yamaha 01X (centre) and the soundcraft spirit E8 on the left.

The moniters aren't 'studio moniters' They're all moniters we've had from various places. The ones at the top are for my Hi-Fi. Then the two pairs at the bottom i use to compare against. As neither are very good, i figure that if i get it sounding nice on both then I can't be far wrong. I'm saving for a pair of KRK Rokit5.

I record bands also. ALl my jobs are from people aged 16 to 21. Any older than that then they dont take me seriously, esprecially when i say i cant record then as im in school :D

Hello drummerdude666. Say I wasn't trying to pin you to the wall, but when I see what you posted as "worked soooo hard for", and you're only 16, well, I don't buy it. That wasn't any of my business, but just for the record...

i've "worked soooo hard" for all my gear. i have 6 guitars and 4 amps (peavey 5150 II halfstack, mesa triple rectifier half stack, 2 marshall combos) and a tama drumset.

i'm 17. i've had jobs. i worked hard for my money. is it so hard to believe?

no sir, it isn't.

My unfinished studio

I am about a 1/3rd of the way complete with my studio...the pictures that you see is the control that not quite finished. Soon I'll have the finished control room and the other 2 preformance rooms uploaded when they are finished.

I have yet to buy Event 20/20 monitors, a Lacie or a Glyph ex/HD, Focusrite A/D 8 channel preamp, some studio snakes and mic cables, more OC 703 panels to be made, and a camera video setup so I can see whats going on in the other rooms without walking back and forth....

It still is for me! I'm sure there is more to your story than led to believe as well.

Sorry to continue hijacking the thread.

Plenty of avenues for speculation here, but IMHO the easiest way to get a bunch of gear at 16-17 years of age is to either bust your parents balls for the cash, or sell some dope. I did both and had some pretty nice gear to show for it.
