Well after 1 year of gigging with my LP I broke the tuners on one side! (fell off the stand on stage! ouch) The cover pops off then the gears dont mesh right and it skips. It looks like the cover just snapped on but the tabs are broken on one side so it won't stay up anymore.

Since I never really liked those stock gibson tuners, do you guys know of any aftermarket tuners that are a direct replacement for the gibsons!

I checked the schaller site and saw some that looked like they would work but they didnt say!
thanks!

I would check Ebay often and thoroughly. There will be something there you can use!

weird coincidence. I'm having Grovers put on my Les Paul and my Casino tomorrow. Those Gibson "Deluxe" tuners are absolute crap and I've only dealt with them thus far out of sheer laziness.

From what I've gathered in my research, schallers are nice but might be a bit of overkill. I'm hoping the Grovers do the trick.

tuners

i got a set of gold coloured SPERZEL"Trim Lock" machine heads on my Les Paul Studio,,and they seem great so far.
they are the locking type and seem to help it stay in tune better than before. cost £59.00
i recommend them !
