These lyrics are awesome JaZZ....what did I mess up in them? :D

On the monitors the cymbals need to be brought into the mix and softened some. They sound as if they are in their own little world and no tone. I like the placement of them though. I won't comment anymore on them and the drums. You already made a statement about that. The beat is good for the song.

They sound fine on my headphones.

Sounds like a lot of bright highs. Of course no Bass, but your vocals sound a bit on the bright side and so does the guitar. I could have it all screwed up, but that is how my ears hear it.

I like this song too!!! Looking forward to hear it finished too!!

Thanks for the lyrics JaZZ. I like the addition of the lead part. Sounding good....more. :D

Forgot to mention the other guitar holding it togather...sounds great!!

To be honest, I think that part caught my attention more than any other parts of the song.

There are several MP3s posted. 2 songs in total, and several mixes of each.

I guess I keep everyone in the loop too much!
 
Hey Jazz, could you send me a file without the drums on the most finished version ya got? I discovered today that I play congas like ass!! :eek: :D

I think I did catch a fairly good take on the marching drum roll area though...maybe..I need to let my ears rest and then have a listen tomarrow.
