it seems you guys record on battery

a few threads i read i keep seeing people talking about how they record and they mention it gets so and so amount of tracks on x amount of battery life.


are you supposed to be recording on battery as apposed to having the laptop plugged in??



very curious to know. because the laptop i am at the edge of purchasing when running on battery the Ghz drops down to 1.3(pent M) :eek:
 
I always record with the laptop plugged in.

Who want's to risk a glitch midway through that perfect take just because the battery has run low?
 
Why do you keep all your threads in seemingly un-related (and different) forums? All your questions are related to PCs, so why not post them there? Not sure what this one has to do with Mixing/Mastering. Oh well, sorry just a nitpick!
 
Yeah i wasnt sure if this was the right place for it

it said mixing and mastering so i thought that was related to the whole recording of the songs.

i dont know.

and this was probably the only thread i posted in the wrong place.
