...happier than you.
Well... I think pretty much everybody around here is decent.. we've been fortunate enough to have a pretty nice little "community" here in the clinic... so having said that... I wanted to add my two bits..
sam.. I mean this nicely, but I think you're just being too darn over-reactive. I mean.. everybody here has jobs and lives and slow-connections and kids and girlfriends and blah blah blah... that's not to mention the time we spend recording... it's just a little too much to try and expect that we conform to some kind of detailed ettiquite on how to, and not to, post regarding songs...
sometimes I'll bump without really thinking.. sometimes I'll forget to reply to my own posts.. sometimes I won't comment on songs for a week or so, cause I'm busy, or cause I just can't think of anything constructive to say about what I listen to for a while... There's a thousand variables that can effect my posting methods... and the same goes for everybody else around here...
I understand you may have gotten a little peeved aboot the way you were seeing a particular thread going or whatever (I don't even know what prompted this)... but I really don't think it's worth it to try and make all sorts of implications aboat what you think the "proper" way to post in the clinic is.
Just let everyone contribute what they see fit... (based on what they feel their input is "worth", or how much free time they have, or how fast a connection they have or whatever) We don't need to go scarin' new contributors away, or causing strife among existing members, with implications about who is and isn't being a "good" poster.
that's just my impression... I hope you take that in the constructive way that it was intended.
