I tried to treat my very small home studio; I’m now looking for advice to make it better as I think I’ve over done it.

What should I contribute in your humble opinion? I posted asking for advice and then read the replies. Do you really hang around here and judge people if they don’t reply?

I’m not doubting that. Honestly the studio went on the back burner for a while. I did make some changes by taking some of the dampening away. I’ll have to record to see how it sounds now. I absolutely appreciate any and all the advice I’ve gotten and didn’t intend to be impolite in any way. I did go off a little because I didn’t appreciate the way some users were saying some negative stuff about my ability to read and stuff. Anyway, if my replies were impolite in that instance then I apologize. I took the moving blankets off of the ceiling to give the recordings a little more “air”. I’m hoping that improves on the ambience. The recordings were pretty dead sounding to me as I had it. Also, my budget is pretty much zero so I must work with what I already have. I can’t get any rockwool or build corner traps and stuff.

It actually motivated me to get back in there and try and improve things.
