Hold on now...this is a bad idea. I can say that being a 15 year housepainter with TONS of Bondo experience that this will never work. That is basically a fiberglass product and does not handle torsion at all. It will break.
There is another way.
They make this stuff called dynamix, it's an epoxy based filler and dries to a harder than plexiglass consistency in seconds flat. You would have to drill small rooting holes in the neck to ensure a maximum bond but this stuff puts Bondo to shame not to mention it will probably sound better being harder and tighter bonding.
Please heed this warning.
Dynamix is the answer here. They have a special mixing gun for it that costs like $80 and tubes are about $30. I have a gun and would voulenteer to do the work as long as you promise to not use Bondo.
