i dont' know exactly, i guess i liked how the learning process was set up in reason. i liked how to be good with it, one first must understand the instruments, then understand the MIDI world / sequencer. having the instruments look like conventional rack units made it feel a bit less daunting. Mostly though, i like the logic behind reason's sequencer. To be honest i like the editng / working with reasons midi sequencer better than sonars (put on flame suit).
Although i only saw it briefly, i don't understand that loop grid that project 5 has either, it seems bulky and confusing. why not just list the tracks in a browser? I'de definately be up for giving p5 a more fair chance when i have some more time, but right now i'm really into bein creative with reason/sonar.
