no matter what you say,
me, after YEARS of reading, experimenting, collecting gear, recording thé cheapest underground stuff u can imagine
can NOT beat a PRO studio by far...
and honestly, compared with most "local" people that claim to have a home studio i'm pretty good... but all i can do is record demo's, i'm even a student at at the SAE, i get better every month, but there's no way i can touch the "expensive mofos"
and honestly, i LOVE what i'm doing, i don't want junk ass bands, but i kick on working with beginners that kinda know what they're doing, no loosers, but no real expierienced people that can get exited by my sound...
i tell EVERYONE that is interested in recording with me that they'll have a demo that will be NOT a commercial recording, no matter how loud they play...hehe
my BIG advantage is that i'm young, i started this stuff real early, before the Boom and the Hype , hehe, i'm proud of that and the day i stop recording i'll be dead, thats my filosofy
no matter how many home and bedroomstudios pop up from under the ground every month....doesn't really matter i think, they sound like cheap demo studios, some sound extremely terrible,
do big studios have to fear this low-quality hype? (no offence, i'm right in the middle of it) Supergood bands, bands with studio expierience should know that a kid with a computer won't make them sound like God,
people that contact me and book me know that they CAN NOT even dream about walking in a big 4-chamber-studio with windows in each room !
WOW, thats future music for 90% of the bands i know
and out of expierience i know that it takes YEARS before you can even record decent, i'm talking about ENTIRE bands, not just some hiphop, once again, no offence for the hiphoppers, i record them too, but face it,
recording drums while there's two guitar amps in the hall and a vocalist is screaming in my mom's bedroom.....
aint easy to make this sound superb, especially if you got one weekend to record it all and one week to mix it all down...
BIG PEOPLE, DONT FEAR ME

,
might sound cruel but i think i'm not just talking for myself...
