So yea the question is whether the music will metalise again or not. My past two threads created contradcitons and rivalries. That is not my intentions for this one.
The structure of todays songs are just power chords or simple chord progressions. There is nothing complex about em. There is a few who are beginning to commercialise Metal again like Atreyu,Avenged Seven Fold,As I lay Dying, Black Label Society, etc. Do you think the 80's style will come back and more specifically the 80s metal?
Think about this. From the 80s to the 90s there were drastic changes but yet people still love 80s music and still do today. From the 90's to the 2000's there has been little change. Emo came out which is just a mix of alternative and punk with some pathetic lyrics, in my opinion.
Aside from all that 80s hasn't died. Why? Because metal hasn't died, which was developed in the 80's.So my theory is that the 80's was the climax in creativity and now with technoligical advancements we will go back to it and come up with even better music inspired by the 80s.
