looks cool, sounds cool -- I'm wondering how it was built, and how those recordings were made -- how many mics? I could see using like 4

I used two mics, an SM57 on the left about 2 feet away and a condenser mic on the right about 3 feet away. The basic box enclosure was the easy part. Building the styrofoam baffle, finding the right motor, balancing and connecting them.... and finding a good speed control....now that was tricky!
The real guts of this thing is the baffle, motor and foot pedal. [commercial content removed by mod - msh] Thanks for posting the link!
