Or, you can use a proxy server that is located in one of those areas and be on the moon, right?

I'm in Waco, btw...lol.

Sounds like a lot to wade through, but remember the "central" in the full DN. I have a friend (really, Daf?) in California who uses RR, his domain is something like socal.rr.com ...

So that limits us to the midwest and south central US, I think...

We can probably safely rule out all the non-death-metal purists too, since I, for example, wouldn't know the diff between shredder A and shredder X. If they're shouting and playing loud and fast, it's death metal to me. Or zydeco...

BTW, no prob here with SC and his alter-egos. I think he's doing us a favor*. But it's fun chasin' him down...

and? the song posted in this thread was NOT deathmetal. oh, and also... that type of singing is very hard to pull off. just because you don't have the ear for it doesn't mean that it isn't valuable.
Puh-lease... you're arguing semantics here... deathmetal, trashmetal, speed-metal,.. blah blah blah... I was talking about heavy-metal in general.
a_super_critic said:
just because the artist thinks that their song is deathmetal, doesn't mean that it is. napalm death is a real deathmetal band. this band is not.
Holy Semantics Batman. :p Nice try dude... keep wigglin'. I referred to the music exactly as the artist did. That's were I get my frame of reference. Fact.

i agree that the recording quality of most of the stuff posted here is bad. that fact, however, is independant to the point that talent can be heard. poor music? that is a taste judgement. like i have said before, i don't make judgements like that.
You're absolutely right... it's a taste judgment... and you've exerted your tastes as judgment on songs plenty of times. That's my whole point here... you come off as thee standard for what's good and bad. You pass judgments on songs all the time, as if your tastes matter to anyone else. Sure, you'll sometimes make remarks about the performance/recording/whatever that can actually hold water... but the only reason I'm wasting my time pointing this oat to everyone is because you also lump in an excessive share of undue judgment based on your taste... and I'm not gonna sit around and let you claim that you're some kind of objective standard for critiquing posts if you're clearly not. (not to mention the fact that I like messing with trolls... that has somethin' to do with it too. :D )

But what's that you say...??? "i don't make judgements like that"...????

oh reeeeeeeaaaalllyyyyyy.....???

Hhhhhmmmm...

Well then... how come in this thread you said, and I quote, "honestly this song is really bad. and it's over 5 minutes of BAD."....????

That was a taste judgment. Plain and simple. I personally liked the song, not to mention the talent of the individual who wrote it, (seeing how I've followed his work for quite a while now) and I also thought the recording was quite fitting for the atmosphere of that particular song. After giving a thorough breakdown of substantive reasons why I found it to be a decent song and recording, I asked you to respond by backing up your claim that it was 5 minutes of bad with something tangible... but funny.... you never did?

and i have not been wrong once.
I don't just make this stuff up, man. :p Not only were you wrong about the fact that you never make taste judgments, but you were even wrong aboot the length of the song that you judged, which means you were wrong by saying that you haven't been wrong once.

Man.. you've almost got a monopoly on "wrong" goin' on here.. :p

Yeah... I know. Bored at work... nuthin' better to do than mess with trolls. :D

Yeah... he could be anywhere. There are even free websites that allow you to browse ananymously using cloaked IPs. Even if he's not using a proxy, as I said in another thread.. or was it this one... lol... I dunno, most ISP's use dynamic IPs that are reassigned every time they log-in. So even if he wasn't using a proxy... the best we could do is guess which ISP he's using... that doesn't exactly help narrow it down much. :p

(that's ok.. I don't wanna know who he is... it might ruin the fun of messing with him. )

Sounds like it would be helpful for surfing for child pornography, so I'm sure he's familiar with this. Plus, he already posted that he's using an "anon proxy," sooooo...

Oh, and even though I told you you typed too much, I failed to admit that I read the entire thing, lmao.

"monopoly" = good one.

Good point daf. I don't have a problem with hecklers, I'll probably have to deal with them tonight. Hecklers usually have the spine to say things, or mostly yell things RIGHT TO YOUR FACE! Its spineless anonimity(sp?) when saying something hurtful that I just don't get. Its obvious that there is some knowledge behind the "troll" (a cool tag btw) that's why I think he should be proud of who he is and take a few steps up to the status of a heckler.
