i thought she may have meant none other than George W.

Hey, how funny to see this song back! I thought Kelly is a guy!?! Anyway, Kelly said he was thinking of someone on this board who everyone thought was a jerk (I can't remember the name now).

I liked it so much I forwarded the page to all my friends who think I'm good. Now they will know me for the hack that I am :-)

One Comment. They are no tags in you MP3s. Tag Tag Tag:D

Thanks!! Oops, I never thought about tags. Didn't realize it was important to do. Will do from now on.

Thanks again for checking out the song!

at first I thought the vocals sounded a bit like lennon, then I read the post which compared it to oasis and realised it was a cross between liam gallacher and lennon! Very cool. The production does sound a bit like noel gallacher's, pretty crisp on the pc speakers. Also some nice touches and a cool song. Well done again, though I think I'm with kelly when it comes to my preference. :)

Thanks Jags!! I dig Oasis, though I REALLY dig Lennon. Either way, the comparison is great, thanks. I think Kelly preferred Fingerprints, but I'm guessing you prefer Despair, right? One thing I've been wondering is, does it seem odd or confusing to have two different singers?

Thanks again,
Macle

Jags, get Winamp, open up your mp3, and thend ouble click on the title that scrolls across next to the little timer, you can then tag the mp3 with it's title, artist and such. Your mp3 encoder might be able to do it, but winamp is freeware and really easy. winamp.com

Macle,

just wondering if you happen to live in the Bay area (Cali) if you do would you ever think about giving mixing lessons. I'd sign up in a heart beat.

by the way i thought the female vocalist doing some background vox meshed very well with the song. I would have to agree with a remark stated earlier regarding the synth sound at around :31 not fitting with the overall feel of the song. This ones my fav. of the 3. I play it at work and people have gone so far as to say "was that one of the beatles out-takes?"

Hey VirtualSamana, thanks very much. The synth thing at :31, that's the mellotron flute sound, right? It does stand out too much, you're right. I'll have to do something with that, or maybe just lose it all together? The mixing lessons thing, that's a great compliment!! I really feel like I don't know what I'm doing much of the time, technically-wise, in fact, a few months ago, I sort of gave up the idea of trying to do things "right", and started having more of a do it however approach, so that's really great to hear.

Thanks again, I really appreciate the feedback,
Macle
