Hi Everyone!
Thanks, in advanced, for taking the time to read this and try to help me out. I've exhausted my Google-Fu and haven't found an answer to my issue. Here is my setup (simple):
- ART Tube MP Project Series USB
- AUDIOTECH AT4040 CARDIOID CONDENSER MIC
- Audacity
- Win7
Unless I place my hand on the ART Tube MP preamp or at the base of the microphone the hum won't go away. I have already replaced the XLR cable, tried ferrite cores. Is there a way to help ground my simple system so that I don't have to keep my hand on either pieces? Is this even a grounding issue?
Thanks for your help!
