Compression Addict
Today, I visited a friend of a friend in order to purchase a used T.C. electronics m-300, for a fair price of $75. I arrived at the persons home studio, and they had it sitting out ready for me to check it out. This piece of gear did not look like I had seen in all of the magazines, and wasnt functioning like I thought it would either. However, I decided to take it, being pleased with what I heard. I got home, and hooked it up, then got on the internet to check it out. I thought i t might have been an older model, but I came up with nothing when searching "m300" I did, however, come up with a picture that looked identical to my gear, which turned out to be an m3000 . wow, what a huge suprise. So basically, I scored an m-3000 for the price of an m-300. Man im happy right now. Im probably gonna have to call that guy and tell him now

I'll trade you my 300 to remove the guilt that is sure to follow.

That story is, well, awesome. My question, though, is how in the hell do you have a piece of gear of that cost and have no idea its value? Oh well, your gain. Congrats!

That's very cool, Brad! I'd be psyched too! But...didn't it have any markings on it saying what it was? And if the seller didn't know what it was(I mean, HE must have bought it once)...doesn't it make you leary? Anyway, not to bring you down - it's a good score. I would be just as happy. Hey...I'll give you $100 for it. Profit right off the bat! :D ;)

super! well, i hope one day some dude will trade his neve for my M8,
this proves it might be possible !
