Yeah, but £1.20 a metre(1m x 54"), i think is pretty decent. Not been able to find cheaper. And that is blue, red, and cream. The blue also has fire-retardent. Anyway, it isn't all for my studio. I plan on building for mine, then building more and selling them. Starting hopefully at my college... :D

I was thinking about doing the same thing, there is a huge market for it in the UK. Maybe we could go into business producing them =]

Yeah, need to be to a really high standard. I've got an acoustics side to my business, but we could make the panels as a business of its own, and i use them/recommend them as part of my business(Bombshed Music). We'll talk... :D
 
The fabric arrived today. Brilliant quality especially for the price. Dead chuffed :D. Ohh and i just bought 20m of black denim for £25 incl shipping. :D

Just thought i'd keep this thread going. You much more technominds?

For the ast 3 days ive been untangled wires, wiring things in and generally cleaning. Its been a nightmare.. but im almost there. Still have to finish the booth.

I finished the webcam system for the booth and its really is great.

Il post pics very soon of the finished article.. im still waiting on the furniture to arrive so it may be a while =]
 
By all means, please keep us posted technominds. I've really been enjoying this thread and look forward to your updates (and pictures!).

sorry for the delay, ive been waiting on some deliveries and had a hell of alot of wiring and sorting to do.

try untangling 3 crates of wires, not fun!

Still waiting on a few things, got to hang my absorbers, maybe make a few more. Ive got a new chair coming.. the one in the pictures is on its way out... and a little more painting.

Also, the vocal booth needs finishing.

But here we go, the 'almost' complete studio...

pretty nice to sit back in.. but no back support for leaning forward... which for me is good.. it keeps me from getting lazy!

I cant really put a number to it.. my collection of equipement has been over 6 years now... the building work wasnt much because i designed it all and then got some cheap builders to simply cut and assemble.

I really couldnt give a figure on it but im guessing somewhere close to £10k
