Greetings,

I've been using Sound Forge for a while now and I'm ready to move beyond 2 track mixing. I need some recommendations on multi track software, 4 , 8 16 track... I only have a PII 350 and no special sound card. I am just starting and looking for soft/hardware recommendations...

Cheers

Nearly all of the software has trial or demo versions, so download a bunch of them and find the one whose features and UI suit your tastes, as well as one that will inegrate well with your exising tools. It is very much a matter of taste.

Look carefully at what is included in each 'level' of the software. You might think that you can do with the 'home' version of the software until you reach the one hidden feature that you never thougt of that is only found in the 'pro' version for hundreds more.

My personal choice is n-track
