Hi all, I've been offered a pair of Kali Audo LP6 studio monitors (original version from around 2020). Unfortunately, I am not in a position to test them before buying. I read that many people are bothered by the self-noise hiss they produce. Can anyone tell me the frequency range of the hiss? If it's pretty high, I may not even be able to hear it with my old ears. (I can't hear anything much above 12kHz.) Thank you.

There was a video on youtube about this but with my hearing I didn't hear anything annoying. Looking on a phone app, there was a tiny bit of noise lower down between 2 and 4K? a more wideband noise, but I couldn't see or hear anything up top. It was a rubbish test, he just moved the camera/phone from front to rear. Trouble was he kept talking.

Thanks, Rob. I didn't opt for the LP6 monitors (yet). Like you, I couldn't hear anything annoying from that video - maybe because my ears are old! As I usually work at low volumes, it probably wouldn't be an issue for me, anyway. I think the later version of the speaker had better noise suppression.
