first recording

I listened to "light pulse." Better than any stuff I was doing at 17. A couple of constructive comments: you didn't seem to be very "locked-in" with the drum track (read=timing off). You were close, but lagging a bit behind the beat frequently, which was distracting (happened on the guitar part as well). Also, the bass tone doesn't seem to have much body to it. How are you recording this? It needs more "thump and growl" to it. Overall, it sounds like you are developing some good chops. Keep it up.
 
OH no. Its absoluteley terible. Sory to have to say, but the song sucks smelly ass and also the recording. Just being honest.

Thanks. I'm recording the bass direct. But yeah, the bass was off I heard that too... since I recorded it first to just the metronome and added the drums afterward it wasn't so great, but I could always go back and re-record it (thank you digital recording!).
