Fed, I didn't think it was harsh at all, just good, honest criticism; and as such, extremely valuable.
By sim I meant that I used my sixstring electric directly into the br-1180, and dialed up a COSM acoustic simulation patch. Same for the infamous banjo sound, although it's actually an
acoustic guitar sim also.
The drums are from a DiscreteDrums disk made especially for this unit. They're real drums which can be edited and looped. I originally had a slightly different pattern, but to me the kick was a little busy, so I simplified. Like you, I hear where the guitar/drums sound out of sync. I need to work on that.
Great idea about 16ths on the bass (bass also is played on sixstring, using onboard bass sim).
It occured to me that piano might be just the thing to replace the banjo-sounding pad...will take me a while to get that together, though.
Don't ever go easy on me, I accept all the criticism here in the spirit in which it is given. I appreciate the time and effort involved both in composing songs and in caring enough to listen and respond.
