Reel deep thoughts...
Honest question…I’m well over halfway through a deep-dive rebuild/upgrade on the Roland JUNO-106 1980s digitally-controlled analog synthesizer I recently acquired (related thread here: https://homerecording.com/bbs/threads/you-never-know-what-you-might-find-for-free….430360/). I’d like to share what I’ve been working on with the JUNO…and I spend most of my time here in the analog forum. Does the thread belong here or over in the keyboard forum?

Tough call, but here’s one man’s opinion….for what it’s worth.

It’s kind of analog gear so it could go here, but…..

Most of your threads are DIY fix it threads that are very comprehensive and technical.
You generally go into the whole of what you’re working on and fix everything you find wrong with a piece of gear. In other words you restore it.

Putting it in the keyboard section might be better as I’m sure someone will have the same keyboard that will need repair.

But then again, it doesn’t really matter. Down the road someone will do a google search, and your thread will come up no matter what sub-forum it’s in.
Come to think of it, you should probably have your own sub-forum.
“Sweetbeats tech stop’ all things gear repair and restoration.
:D
