Very Cool, Tim.

Interesting song choice. It's just a little thing, but I think my favourite part of this is the way you played the "over me" part of the melody. So Sweet. I don't know why, but it makes me smile every time.

This was done all DI? The sounds aren't bone-dry sounding, so I assume you've added some 'moisture' via a reverb. Best piezo sound I've heard to date, hands down.

TL covering Aerosmith !!??!!! Next you'll be covering Peter Frampton and the Bee-Gees!!!!! :D

Tim

No, No, it has to involve and animal and an unusual piece of clothing...

Hmm...

OK, you're a Mutant Otter in Chaps.

:)

I don't really have much to say besides the fact that I like it a lot. I can let my mind wander through the different guitars.

Excellent take on an already cool song. Great guitar work....not much more that I can say.

:D Nice rendition of the tune. I was half expecting a sound more like Michael Hedges 'Come Together' from the piezio. Nice stuff Tim.

shiatsu – I was pushing the tube stage pretty hard so at least most of it is below the distortion point, heh-heh, so it’s good to hear that it was only close to distorting on your system. :D Thanks for listening.

Incanus – always nice to hear your input… that “over me” spot was one I tried many different ways so glad you liked it. :) Yep, all DI. Just a little delay on one of the gtrs, and a touch of short verb overall. Three different instruments though. Bee Gees beware.

semidiablan, Wireneck, cmhansen - thanks for the listen and thumbs-up.

Tim

that's real**2  Tim...

I think the mid lows are thick... too thick, well that was my inital impression which changed a bit as I listened, but it still sounds very nice.

Well, before Tim remixes it too much, he allowed me to have some fun with it. :D

Come Together

I have always loved this tune, and thought about doing a hard, somewhat gritty cover of it, but when Tim put this up, I had a different vision.... :p

Thanks, Tim.

Si...Si...Si...

Dogman... I'd say go ahead and quit your day job... :D

Sultry and mysterious... Cool...

Thanks, dude. It was just fun. Hearing Tim's playing, I couldn't go with the screamer thing, and I tried to stay away from my natural tone, so I had to be real quiet. And you wouldn't believe the equipement I used. I had fun, as it made me try something different. And to do something with Tim, was pretty cool.

Awesome! :D I really enjoyed it. Only neg is the piezo sound and the heavy lo-mid as stated above - all things considered though it sounds pretty damn good, and the playing is fantastic!

I have now listened to both versions of it (Dogman's gritty, but very stirring vocals) and I am impressed once again. Now if I could just get back to my gear...

It sucks when something like this inspires you, and you can't do anything about it...

In which country are the servers of hr.com positioned?

Cause in several german music forums, it isn't allowed to post any covers, cause of the copyrights.

Is it here allowed to post covers of protected songs??????????

Hi.

Tim is hosting the song on his own website, and providing us a link. This site does not host any music.

:D I love hearing people do homages to Beatles songs. This one sounded just great. Well played
