Mixing and Mastering.
I sent OfCom an email about this matter and this is what they replied with.
This is for the UKm and might be different in the rest of the world.
"From my reading of the Ofcom Broadcasting Code there is no watershed on radio (see 1.5 at http://www.ofcom.org.uk/tv/ifi/codes/bcode/protectingu18/) but section 1.14 states “The most offensive language must not be broadcast before the watershed or when children are particularly likely to be listening.” You may wish to read the various sections further and wait more definitive advice from our Broadcast team.
Appendix 2 of this archived research document lists the most offensive words in 2000: http://www.ofcom.org.uk/static/archive/itc/research/delete_expletives.pdf and discusses the issue of deleting expletives.
I would advise you also contact any broadcasters you wish to approach to play your music on air as they may have their own station guidelines."
