Yeah I can't understand most of what he says either...but I don't think he's horrible. I'm sure he'll come to realize speed isn't everything...

We don't need another Twista clone. Not dissing fast spit at all, but I'll be surprised if anyone can understand him...most of it just sounds like shit written just to be done fast. At least when you listen to Twista or Bone or anything like that, there's some kind of message with the song that you're going to understand. That's why they've been in the game as long as they have.

Come to think of it, dude's voice sounds like he's trying to mimic Twista completely.

ummmm......i dunno....he's not terrible....but what is he talking about?

yo

he's alright as a rapper,,he's not faster than twista,,work with him again and tell him to work on pronouncing the words better,,and bounce a little more on the track using better timing...

well i must say that i wasn't really a fan the first time i heard this song like 2 weeks ago, but yesterday i was standing there and for some reason "sometimes i rap fast sometimes i rap slow whenimoutofcontrol igodobodotothembowsandodemhos" got stuck in my head. Granted, i think about music pretty much all day long, and i get lines from like 50 songs stuck in my head per day. But if it was a song i only listened to once like two weeks ago, that means that he does have potential for making a catchy song.

i don't mind meaningless songs if they are well made. Listening to this track agian, and paying full attention, i would say that he is near-indecipherable most of the time. When i listen to bone thugs, i can understand basically every word that they say, and as fieva said, they usually have some sort of purpose to their verses. They did have plenty of songs about smoking weed and killing people, but even then there was still more to it than that. If one of them had a bad verse, the next one will usually pick it up.

That is going to make it harder for him if he is trying to be a solo artist, because that means he has to put more effort into every verse if the entire song is going to be decent. I don't think he should give up on his uptempo style. However, somebody is going to have to sit him down and tell him to practice a lot until you can understand what he's talking about. He's good at staying on beat, and this sounds like it might be the first track he recorded, so if he tries a few more times it could lead to something.

fast for fast sake don't get it... he was ahead of the beat on most of this... his timing sucks.... if he insists on doing this you'll have to speed up the beat to find "his pocket"

Been do'in this for a while, but this guy is either a good rapper or a shitty one, lol. Came into my studio saying that he is faster than Twista. Well, he was right, he's so fast you can't understand what the fuck he's saying..Let me know-

He's got talent.

But he needs to avoid the speed until he can perfect his timing so that people understand his ass.

He could do some good shit, if he tried harder. Too much confidence is a bad thing, and I think his confidence is way boosted, and that makes him think that rapping faster is better, which it isn't.

Hav'im do it again, with more pronunciation on the words. Try to slow it down a bit.

i may be way off base . . .but to me, if you gon spit that fast - for clarity sake . . . i think you need certain "effects" on teh voice . . . can you add some "highs" to his voice or somethin else that would make his vocals sound . . . more crisp . . . to make them "bright" as if they were the cymbals in the track . . . you could make them stand out more if u apply more "hi frequency"

as well, i think perhaps if he spit the verses again, once he has really practiced them hard (not that he hasnt, i dont know) but a lot of times, when u re-record, and for instance concentrate on 1 facet - like "enunciation" the syllables can come out crispier

(and im mad cool wit fast spit - i luv it actually - and i can understand most of what he is sayin)

guess i was dead wrong since no one responded . . . whoops! sorrry

I think he sounds ok but he needs to work on his presentation a bit. He needs to try and find his own style and not try to sound like Twista. Tell him to slow it down a bit and put some feeling in it instead of trying to get the words out as fast as possible. He will sound pretty good if you guide him in the right direction. Good luck.
