buzzy note

This is hard to describe exactly. Nylon-string guitar. I'm getting a buzzing sound on one note in a chord although I'm playing it right. If I play the notes individually, no problemo - they all play clean. But if I play them together, ugly noise. What's that about? I've played guitar for a long time, but never come across this.
 
That's an irritating resonance of some description. Have you recently restrung it with a gauge you've not used before?
 
I restrung it recently, yeah. I have no idea if the gauge is new to the guitar because it's the first time I've restrung it. I'll try a different gauge. It's really irritating, like you say. I've played all sorts of two and three note chords all over the neck, and it's only that one pattern that buzzes. But I can't change the position or the key because of the guitar part and my singing range. So I have to fix it. Or sell it.
