buzzing noise?

Hi there, I have a Fernandes 6 string guitar, don't know which model it might be, that makes noise. I'm sure the switches are very cheap, i've found that different positions seem to make more or less noise. Also, when I take my fingers off of the strings, it makes more noise. Is there a grounding problem? Is it easy to fix? Also, how hard is it to replace the pickups in it? I was looking at some seymore duncan pickups....any opinion on them? thanks,

Low end guitars (and some high end ) usually have crappy shielding.
