erichenryus-Sorry about the d/l thing, gonna have to check into nowhere. Thanks for the comments on Jacqueline. The piano, yeah, that's before I got the Gigapiano. Still not really satisfied with it, though. One day, a *real* goddamn piano! A Cd is the hope, if Wes would hurry up and get his record co. together!
jeffmarcomb-You never heard it, but you think it's great? How cool is that?

I guess you mean you never heard the other stuff from before. Not sure if these are the ones I'd want you to hear first, since they are demos on a Roland, but glad you like em. I dug your tune as well! Thanks a lot.
jcmm-Hey Joel, thanks a lot, hopefully, you can check out Beautiful Loser, too, sorry about that (as usual

) Thanks for that about the star thing, I guess I didn't realize that's been going on, didn't use to happen, so I guess I took it personal, but with the help of cool people like you, I'm over it!

Thanks again.
chrisharris-I didn't realize you could stream mp3s, so that's the deal! When I click on an mp3, all I can do is download. Hmmm. Gonna have to check out Nowhere...
mixmkr-Yeah, the star thing

. Well, none is better than a bunch of 1s, I think. None could mean there's still hope, but 1s are like someone shouting "you suck!" On the other hand, what's the saying about love me or hate me, as long as you don't ignore me, or something like that...
Thanks for thinking the new stuff sounds better, cuz I'd hate to think I'm going backwards! I did milk that VS, I've got others from before that are as big as the new ones as far as tracks and strings and samples and crap, bouncing stuff...did you notice the reverb, btw, there's a bit more, which was interesting, I thought. Thanks for the vocal comment, I appreciate that, next CD, hopefully, I'll get an "A" out of you

(you gave me a "B" before, remember?, so I'm trying to improve...) Thanks very much for all your feedback, mixmkr!
Scott-Hey Scott, thanks! Harrison, that is cool, thank you!! Thanks for the other comments, as well, really really great, I appreciate it, especially coming from someone as talented as you. When are you gonna post another animation/video/song, btw...
Chessrock-How are ya?! Thanks a lot. My voice sounds completly different? Well, the chain is completely different, and I suppose I was approaching it in a different way. I don't think there's much compression, if any, and I think I was singing a little softer, more casually, because the mic wasn't good for harder singing. Only that last "alright" has the throaty sound, I noticed. Not much punching, just singing straight through, and not being too particular about off notes! Thanks again!
twist-Thanks a lot, I really appreciate that. It's great to be able to share this stuff, and I appreciate greatly your taking the time to listen to it. And thanks for not thinking I'm an ego-maniac (I am, sometimes, but usually, I'm an insecure mess...)
Wes-Howdy! Thanks, 70's, that's cool. I like the 70's, well, the early 70's. I like Elton John a lot, I taught myself piano by playing his songs, so that's that influence coming through, I think. Funny you think the piano sounds more real, cuz Eric said it sounded more fake

... would really like to get a real one for real! As far as the upgrade, and skill vs gear, I think the gear definitely plays a big part, but I have been working hard towards a certain sound. Haven't got there yet...but, you know, like all of us, trying to move up the mountain...The vocal *is* less edgy in that Lennon way. The mic was an AT4033, which I think has a nice smooth sound, but I couldn't really shout into it, so the vocal is more mellow, laidback. I suppose it is a bit more me, so thanks, glad you like it! As far as putting the Max adlib back on, I would, but I'm too lazy! Maybe I'll just upload a snippet of it, and you can edit it on.
Thanks for all the stars everyone, makes me feel a whole lot better!
