At last I started to build my own studio.....

Here's a few progress pics, I've started to clean and tidy the garden, I've put the colours on the wall, but still to do the cutting in on the paint ( paint where the walls join, and the walls join the ceiling) And I have begun to lay the wooden floor. It's all taking a little longer than hoped, A few friends had promised me help but they've been mad busy in work as have I, so all the work is still been done in my spare time, altho this weekend is a bank holiday so hopefully I'll get a lot done... Anyway heres the pics...

So as you can see from the pics above I'm starting to get to the finishing touches, I'm gonna cover the bass traps with black fabric and I'm painting the desk black... I have to get the rear bass traps done now and finish off all the little bits and pieces, then I'll move all my gear in and start working out my absorbtion panel placement after I have confirmed my listening position....

I've now covered the bass traps in blsck fabric and painted the desk black, I also started the skirting board and I'm in the process of caulking all the joints, Next I have to finish the skirting and the caulking then its a case of touching up the paint and then cleaning and tidying....

Moved in my gear, Still a few little things to do, Still have to paint the skirting and the beading on the bass traps, Also have to sort out my listening position and position of my monitors, Then I have to sort out acoustic panels....

Getting there now, I have to make my acoustic panels for the walls and I'm getting a rug for the floor, Also have to make my guitar amp isolation box...
