For the last 3 months I have been building a few guitars and just completed this one. It’s Adirondack spruce over super highly flamed koa wood.the body shape is 15.5” ‘Figure 8’ shape which has become my favorite body style. This size body is ideal for recording because the sound is so balanced.

That's absolutely stunning, Scott. There is a simple elegance in your work that is sublime.

I wish I could afford one

I dig that binding. :thumbs up:

Want.
I noticed that too. Just perfect. And it wraps around the back as well.
There aren't any pictures of the neck inlays. Did you use the same material? Pardon my ignorance: I want to say Mother of Pearl, but I'm not sure that's correct. Oyster shell?

@Scott Baxendale is so damn good. Such a great eye.
I can only imagine what it feels like when you create something so beautiful and functional. Lord knows how many people will benefit and get joy from his work.

The inlays in the headstock and fingerboard are made from gold mother of pearl. The trim around the body is blue Pau abalone.

WOOF! I SO WANT ONE!
I wish I had the cake...
I have a used rosewood one of the same body style and a reduced price. It’s about 2 years old. It’s less than 1/2 the price of the koa wood model I just finished.
