Any hidden secret to clean knobs/pots?

Do you prefer paste or gel...or are you onje of those funny guys that like the paste & gel stripe.....?

Moresound uses sensitive toothpaste exclusively on his knobs...

i've always had good experience with tuner 600 spray by "kontakt chemie"
