dam im stupid i thought all tube amps were stacks well Lt. Bob can you recomend a tube amp either half or full stack for me thats not too spendy and doesnt matter the brand

get a fender bassman (alot cheaper than a jcm800) from ebay and take it to tech to have it modded for high gain. i bet it would shit all over that mg.

yeah but it's a crappy bass amp ... lol .... but a pretty decent guitar amp. Also, as Travis points out, the basic early Marshall designs, which are highly thought of, are based on the bassmans' circuit design.marshall.amps said:

what Lt. Bob said. the way i understand it, the early marshalls were a direct rip off of the early bassmans with tweaks gradually added over the years.
