Did I waste my money. I recently purchased an Altec 1707c for next to nothing. I know I shouldn't have bought it without hearing it work first... But it was SO cheap that I can't return it. It has 6 inputs (supposedly) but I don't see them. It seems like something that needs to be wired in (the jacks). It is rated at 75 watts. Did I just screw up and buy something not suitable for home/studio use. Can I power my stereo speakers without blowing them up (old AR speakers) and can I adapt this unit for studio use... To compress sounds going into my Fostex Dmt8vl hard disk recorder? Did I waste my money? Thanks for your time and sorry about the dumb question.
