Alesis Adat Lx Machines For Sale

Is there anyone out there who is looking for a deal on a couple of Alesis ADAT machines? These machines work great, but I have now gone to Pro Tools in conjunction with my Alesis HD24 for recording/mixdown.

I actually have 7 of these machines (thinkin about keeping 2 or 3 of them, but whatever we work out.) and 2 of the 7 dont work. I will give those 2 away for parts FOR FREE to whoever buys a couple of these tape machines.

I am not sure of the hours, but I think they have around 500hours on them.

The heads on all the machines were just cleaned.

I will let these go CHEAP just to make room in my studio, so if your interested make me an offer. (You can see them in the rack at www.fusedrocks.com under the FUSED STUDIO)

Nobody interested >?>?>?>? Again, they will go cheap. Also will trade for EQ, or a decent Large Diaphram Mic, SM57's or SM58's among other things.

Someone has to want 1 or 2 of these fine machines. :)

I have 2 Art Tube EQ's that I was thinking of setting free. 2 mono half racks. I hardly ever used them as I switched to mising in the box shortly after I bought them. I'm the original owner and they've been well cared for- smoke free home studio only.

They sound good. Low and high shelving with 2 sweepable mids. Low shelf at either 40 or 120, high shelving at 6k or 18k. Low mid sweep from 20 to 2000, high mid sweep from 200 to 20k. The only "problem" (i.e design flaw) with them is that the controls are stepped- lots of little steps and not a true sweep. Never found it a problem, and it hleps to set the 2 mono units for use as a stereo pair- and they beat the pants off the mixer I was using when I bought them- an Alesis Studio 24.

Would you be interested in a trade or partial trade? I'm looking for 1-3 ADAT's to round out my collection. I'm aiming for 2, but would take 3 if it were a good deal.

What's up with the ones that don't work, by the way?

Forgot to add- I also have an ART Dual MP that I'm thinking of selling. It kicks butt as a bass DI or a preamp for just about anything rock. I've even inserted it on tracks to give them some extra tube grind. Again, I'm the original owner and its been well kept in the smoke free home studio.
