Same musicians as the previous song I posted, I am mostly very content about the drumsound in the second part.
And about the song.

Hope you like it, and give me as much tips/ suggestions/ critics if you have the time. Thanks!

Maarten.

The lead guitar in the intro and verse is too loud, as is that percussive hit (snare) that comes through at the end of every bar.

Vocals sound okay, the rhythm guitar sounds very nice.

Niggle - took me a while to get used to the tempo.

Nice composition!

OK, pretty good

The lead guitar is a little hot. The entire instrument mix could be spread out a little. they are panned too hard right and left. Leaving a hole in the center is great for vocals, but your hole is very big.

I would also put a little more reverb on the lead guitar--give it some air, pull it back into the mix.

Overall its a nice piece.

Just my $.02 worth

I like the mood and mode. The drums are good, just a wee bit top heavy on the splash and snare is a bit strong in the soft parts. Toms and kick are fine. THe organ sounds good. Guitars nice.

Well hmmmm....I didn't find the lead too loud at all.
I did think the vocals could come up a smidgen......and the bass is a little indistinct...could use a bit more presence.....occassional pitch issues in the vox, not bad mind you but there nonetheless....
I like the tune....reminds me of very early Steve Miller...nice!

Well, I like the bass sound, and I don't really think that lead guit was up too high. Didn't care much for the lyrics, they were a bit repetitive for me. But I guess that's not a mix issue is it?
Sounds pretty good here.

After re-listening using speakers instead of headphones, I retract my comments.

The headphones seem to be hyping certain frequencies. My computer monitor speakers aren't anything special, but the song sounded much more evenly mixed through them.

I think the lead is not so much loud as it is inconsistant - so when it gets louder in parts it kinda jumps out at me a little too much. Perhaps a little gain-riding and/or compression to level it out a touch?

I think I'd brighten up the vox a bit - they're a little too muddy with verb. I like the verb, though. I'd just like a little more clarity as well. (I want it all:))

I feel like the drums are a little too dry and up front in comparison with the rest of the tunes. They sound good - I'm just a little too aware of them. Turn them down, turn the bass up and sharpen the attack of the bass a little, give me a little more clarity on the vox, and I'm happy.
