Well I have a AA 47fet - although I had Dave install a Peluso cap in it - and I must say it is in my top 3 mics - nice lows - but still is bright on top end. I like it but if your after a more subdued top end - It seems the Kel may be more for your liking - although I have not tried one.
What is with that polar pattern "small supercardiod" - on the Kel?
Also their website says it has a 6db pad and the video and audio about the mic say it has a 10db pad - which seems to be correct!
Both these mics look similar - in the body and have the same switches in the same spots for low cut and pad - the grill basket is different on them though.
Maybe ask kidvybes - on the Kel - he is a resident expert on all things Kel!
