I really like the lead tone - not too digital - some real sounds & depth. The rhythm guitar sound is almost faux sitar - interesting.
You should spend a little more time on this ditty - I like the melody.

Pretty cool man...tones don't sound bad at all. Nice playing...sounds great.
Have fun with the new gadget... :D

Don't know why but it sounds James Bond-ish to me. Tight rhythm and a big sound.

Drums sound too artificial for the arrangement IMO. This would sound great with a promiment rhythm gtr with a scooped EQ curve replacing the drums for the backing rhythm.

It seems to have a tango beat to it, very synchopated. Are the harmonies in 4ths to the melody? Yeah those Digitechs are fun, good to play around the house, stepping through the menus live is a hassle though. ;)

rayc - Thanks man. :) It's what we around here at homerecording have come to know as useless guitar wanking.

lbanks - Thanks for listening. Woody Harrelson........ will always be a dork. :) In a nice way tho. He plays his part really well. Now you reminded me of "After the sunset".

Dogman - Thanks for listening and the kind words. :) Oh, I'll be tweaking and turning the gadget on for many nights to come. :D

Timothy Lawler - Thanks for listening. :) Your feedback is like a flattery. :) It's me just going up and down the blues scale I just learned. :) Ok, looking into doing the rhythm again and removing the drums. :) The drums were just there to help keep time. It just a kick and a snare. A crash hit is for each new 12 bar segment. :)

Anfontan - 4ths to the melody? Sorry man I'm lost! Hey hey, thanks for listening man. :) Stepping thru the menus would annoying but the thing is other than this I only have a boss dr-1 pedal. So instead of dropping a fortune acquiring FX pedals and what nots, I figured 89.00 tax free was a good investment into an amp modeller and 28 FX unit with 11 FXs available at any given time. Plus it has an expression pedal allowing for better application of Wah.

:)

Thanks all. I will try to post something better soon. Probably will go up and down the scale a little better next time. I might change the key next time to have better access to my favorite frets. This is in the key of E. :)

Haha, I agree with Tim about the James bond reference. The percussion adds to that feel IMO. Definitely some cool movie music here. Very interesting piece. Hey bass sounds kind of like a bluesy mission impossible theme too! Anyway, tones sound cool on my system. Maybe a low bass rumble here and there. Cool, enjoyed this

Thanks for listening man. :)

I appreciate your input. Trying to reduce the bass rumble and provide an alternate rhythm track. :)

Oh, what I meant is that it sounded like a harmony patch on the RP200, and it was a harmony thats a 4th above the root note-sort of an Allman brothers type of harmony. Yeah thats a darn good price on that pedal, I think they were $150 a few years back when I got one. Just one thing I must warn you about though, if you play it outside on a sunny day you can't read the green display-it disappears in the bright sunlight! I found out at a gig

I see what you mean. I think it is one of those synth presets that sort of double the note with another note (which could be the 4th).

LOL about reading the display in daylight. That would suck. Well, that would freak me out! For the moment, I won't be playing live anywhere. But when I do get a band together, I might play somewhere live. And I will be sure to remember that. :)

About the price, the store was Brook Mays and they're going out of business nationwide. Actually, they're only in 8 states. :) The unit is still selling for around $129.00 at musiciansfriends and zzounds and etc. Plus I asked them for recording artist's tax exempt status and they couldn't set me up with that status (like guitar center does) but the guy rang it tax-free anyway. :) So I bought it.
