100W Bass Amps

I am in the market for a bass amp that pushes around 100W. Seems like company has their version of the same amp with some differences here and there. So, I want to take a poll to see which amps you think are the best and why. The amp will need a line out for bigger gigs, but it should be able to handle smaller rooms well. Other than that, I am sure you know what I am looking for..... a kick ass bass amp! All feedback appreciated.

and by the way I am looking at something around 3 or 400 bucks

before i put in a vote, what type of music do you play, will you be playing with a band???? or will this just be for home use.


If you plan to play with a guitarist or a drummer, i'd reccomend you saving up to purchase a cab and at least a 350 watt head.

I knew I was forgetting something...

Yes, it will be played with a band. A pretty loud drummer/ Mesa 100W head/ Hot Rod Deluxe 40w. Mostly rock n roll sound

I had also looked at that 350 watt Berry head. Looks good for the price
 
I use a Hartke Kickback 10. It's great for practicing at home. On gigs or in studio I use a Hartke 3500 with a 410tp and 115xl. Hughes and Kettner make a nice amp that is about 100watts
 
The Ampeg BR100 has gotten excellent reviews. I plan to get one soon.

You are most likely going to find that even 350 watts wont suit yer needs.
