8gb? 12gb? 16gb? At what point does it become overkill? Say I'm working on a mix in Cubase with 60 plugs enabled. Will there be any benefit of having more than 8gb RAM? My main concern is latency, so I'm not sure if having a huge amount of RAM will make any difference there.

Just got a used Radial J48. It should receive the 48v phantom power from my TC Konnekt 6 but the LED on the DI does not blink like it should. Also no sound coming through the input on the interface. First time I have used an active DI like this. Any ideas?

I use a desktop PC with 8gb Ram and a dual core AMD. Wondering about the latency differences between PCIe and Firewire interfaces is the difference worth it? Looking at RME Multiface and MOTU 2408. Any others?

RME (along with MOTU) seems to be one the most favored brands on discussion boards. I am currently checking out a Babyface 2, and I was wondering if an upgrade from a TC Konnekt 6 would be worth it. Would I hear a sound difference and less latency.
