Hey recently I've been recording songs with my band, my brother, and some just by myself. I was wondering if you could just give some a quick listen and tell me what you think? The older ones were recorded with older equipment (some I didn't have drum mics, some I didnt have a multi-track unit)...
Recently I recorded two original songs, one with a friend, and the other was just something random we did, we were tired, been practicing for 5 hours, and just decided to record a jam... So basically, I want critique/comments on the the first in its entirety, and the second one more on the drums...
I've recently been getting more into recording, and I've been doing single tracks at a time, and have been mixing all of my drum mics down int one track, which as you know, isn't the best thing in the world. My results are ok, but I want to get a mutltrack unti mainly for drums (but other things...
Hey, recently I've started recording a lot more and I've been getting more and more sophisticated with what I do. Recently, I've obtained some drum mics and started micing my drumset, however the friend that is letting me borrow them told me I definitely need a multi track interface for them...
First one is Fix You by Coldplay with my friend Sarah, I didn't have any drum mics at the time so I tried to make it with two SM58's and it didnt turn out the best.. other than that what do you think?

Hey guys, I made my first music video yesterday (well, I filmed all the parts and have the song at least), and then I realized that I don't have a good program to compile them together. I have Cubase to record with, I used a Canon 7D with an 85mm 1.2 (My favorite lens of all time!), so those are...
I would recommend Battery 3, it is amazing in every way possible... I can't even start beginning describing it, but basically, it has everything you would EVER need. Trust me. Just check it out
I'm going to be recording my electric guitar through my peavey amp, bass, and vocals, along with Sam's keyboards. And I saw those packages, but are they really good for the money?
So I've been getting into recording, I currently have lots of instruments, a laptop, an 8 channel analog mixer, an SM57, SM58 and another mic and I have another mic, I can't remember what it is off the top of my head but basically it's another brands version of an SM57. So currently I run into a...
Reaper is, well "easier" to learn and use, but Cubase is much, much better if you learn it. I just switched from Reaper to Cubase and it was hard at first, but it was really worth it!
Yes I understand that its about "LEARNING" the program like the back of my hand, that is exactly why I am asking which should I use, because i want to learn the program like the back of my hand, but i want to learn which ever one is "better" in you guy's opinion :D
I've been using Reaper but I've decided i want to try a new recording program, recently I've been interested in Adobe Audition 3 and Pro Tools 8... both look pretty nice but which program would you go with if you were me? Thanks!

Recently I've been getting into recording, i have some decent mics, a 6 channel ev mixer with phantom power, monitor speakers, etc. So recently i've recorded and it sounds ok but i was wondering, when recording instruments, which order do you do so in? Drums, guitar, bass, etc.? Also which...
