This may be a completely stupid question but i'll say it any way.
If you want to pan a guitar differently in different sections for example have the guitar mono in the verse and then panned left and/or right in a chorus of a song, would you need to record different guitar tracks for each...
At first i thought it might be the fan from my pc that i can here but now you mention it, it could be hiss from the electronics. Although it's very a very faint sound, i know it's there.
So i recently got Sonar x1 Essential and was wondering if anyone knows of any free noise reduction plugins because i've got a small bit of background noise from the mic i'm using?
Thanks
So i'm constructing a recording studio with in my bedroom because it's the only space i have available but it's quite small (don't know dimensions) and i'm stuck as to where would be the best place to have the mixing area.
I did a rough diagram as the current layout but wondered if anyone had...
So i know that ideally i'd need to cover all corners with bass traps but currently i can only afford to get two, so where would be the best place to put them for mixing, so for example in the corners behind the monitors or in front?
So i'm relatively new to this whole home recording lark so in the case of acoustic treatment would these bit of foam be alright to create DIY acoustic panels?
Thanks
