i agree sonicalbert, its unfortunate, becuase i don't want to business with a company who doesn't look after their clientele, but when they make your favorite product, its hard to go elsewhere. personally i liked the event tr6 much more then the krk's in the same category.

something i'd like to follow into myself...they are a bitch to find in canada, i'm planning on purchasing the tr6's and the only thing stopping me is being able to buy them somewhere. i'm trying steve's music in toronto, but they're waiting for a shipment, and they're telling me they're having...

thanks for the info ssscientist...it ended up being the latter comment...the radium was hooked up through usb (i guess something happened to the cable, becuase after switching the midi cable in the casio to the radium it works! :D yey!

i'm using an m-audio radium 61 controller...its worked fine for over a year, but now its acting up. after playing vst's with it in cubase for maybe 5-6mins. it completely cuts out and can't be played anymore...meanwhile, my cheap casio keyboard has no problem? any suggestions? thanks

i'm using NI intakt, i've imported a drum loop, and i was wondering how to record effects (such as cutoff/resonance etc.) after the loop has been recorded into the cubase (sx2) sequencer. thanks

love the fantom...a great piece of gear. definatley better then the korg and yamaha counterparts IMHO.

Not something thats permitted, especially among serious musicians. But with the high price of software these days, i can't help but use the pirated version of a software for an amount of time to figure if i like it before i part with my money, and then if i feel its worth my money, i'll get it...

thanks for the replies guys!!! i don't think its really fair comparing a tr5 (5") and 8.2's (6.5") you'll obviously get a better low frequency reading on the 6.5's. the reason's i'm straying away from the wharfe's even though they're so huge on the board because i can't hear them b4 i buy them...

yep, the most commonly overlooked piece of gear by the new musician. took me quite awhile to realize whats the point in thousands in gear if you can't hear it the way its supposed to be heard.

what about lieing them down sideways on the upper part of the desk (i measured, and 48" is about ear level. do you think this will produce desired results?

never been a huge fan of the yamaha motif's...personally i'd go with the fantom-x tons of awesome features in that keyboard, and if you've been in the store playing these things to death, i'm sure you've touched upon all the details you need to know.
