I try to burn cd's for people at 196/24. It comes out just str8 static on pc, car, stereo - anywhere... But at 44KHZ it works perfect.. Wut's the top quality that will be allowable on a cd? And how come I can't do 196/24? I want my music to sound the best it can when I distribute it.

In studios, when recording someone, do they use more than 1 mic to record? Cause I've read on the forms about different mics for recording drums and stuff, like 5 mics recording.. Do they do that for vocals on cd's? Or just 1 mic?

What do mixers do? Do you record, and say that's TAKE 1, and do EQ stuff to it? If so, where does it store it at, and how does it know whitch record to use? Also, what are they for? To control dB levels and EQ levels? Can you make all vocals 1 solid dB with them, so that there is no lows or high?

Whitch one of these mics is a good mic? Question, I want a mic to hang overhead, not be set on a stand.. Is that possible to do? If so, what do I need to do in order to do that? If not whitch one of these can? Also, any other mic suggestions? $450 price range.
